Is this you?
“My baby is taking hours to fall asleep at bedtime.”
“My child wakes up 5-6 times throughout the night”
“I just cannot seem to get my little one to sleep past 4:30 a.m.”
“My toddler suddenly stopped napping!”
“I’m exhausted!”
When you’re sleep deprived, it’s easy to get caught up doing whatever it takes to get your little one sleeping (so that you can sleep too!) The path of least resistance is easy for a reason!
But unfortunately, nothing can change if nothing changes. If you want your sleep to look different, you’re likely going to need to make some adjustments.
Your family deserves to sleep well. I’ve worked with many families who have ALL been where you are – exhausted, frustrated, and feeling like their child will just never be a good sleeper. Even though it may seem like you’re the only one in the world with a struggling sleeper, sleep issues are so normal and they’re all fixable!
Read through some of the stories of families I’ve worked with in the past – maybe one of them sounds like you!
Take sleep stress off your plate
When Savannah’s parents first reached out to me, they were exhausted. They were spending hours rocking their 6-month-old to sleep only to have her wake up 2-3 hours later to do it all over again! Everyone’s mood was impacted by their lack of sleep.
They had some wonderful strategies in place and a great knowledge base, but were just missing a few puzzle pieces. Together we created a personalized sleep plan that filled in the gaps for Savannah and gave them a clear path forward.
The result: Savannah was sleeping through the night just 3 days after our consultation.
“Jamie was nothing less than amazing. Not only was the information she gave so beneficial, the continued support she offered was priceless. She took all the hard work, research, and scheduling confusion off of our hands and made the sleep training process incredibly easy. We went from rocking our daughter to sleep for hours and waking up every 2-3 hours all night to her falling asleep on her own with in 10 minutes and sleeping over 9 hours straight by the second night! Jamie changed our lives, and we could not recommend her more.”
Then there’s Christina – mom of an 8-month-old, Charlotte, and entrepreneur trying to build her business. She was struggling to maintain her sanity after her daughter was keeping her up for several hours every night and waking for the day before 5:00 a.m.
During the two weeks we worked together, we got Charlotte sleeping 12 hours through the night and taking two predictable and long daytime naps. Christina has been able to focus on being a #momboss without falling asleep on the job!
“People ask me why I hired a sleep consultant and usually don’t know what they do. I’m like, ‘I got my life back. I wanted someone else to think for me because I couldn’t.’ Charlotte is absolutely thriving with a better sleep schedule. I don’t know what took me so long. This was the best money I’ve spent since having a baby. Thank you!”
Have confidence about a plan for change
Jessica first contacted me when her son Tripp was 4 months old. She was concerned that he was going through the dreaded 4-month sleep regression and wasn’t sure how to handle it. After a few rocky months of trying on her own, she reached out for some more help.
With a step-by-step plan in place, Tripp was officially sleeping through the night within a couple of days.
“Jamie was great to work with for our sleep issues. She was very thorough with the sleep plan and made herself available anytime I needed assistance. I used to feel very insecure about my son’s sleep and even struggled with anxiety about whether or not I was doing the right thing. Now my son is sleeping through the night, knows how to self soothe, and I feel very confident about the choices I am making regarding his sleep.”
A customized approach for your family
I work with many families who feel like they have tried everything to solve their sleep struggles and just assume that their child will never be a good sleeper. But every child is a little bit different, and sometimes their plan for sleep needs to be as unique as they are.
When I work one-on-one with families, I can customize a plan that takes into account all your child’s nuances and the support built-in to my coaching packages allows us to continue to make tweaks until we get it just right.
When my grad-school colleague and good friend Lynn first reached out, her 4-month-old son Bobby wasn’t going to bed until 1:00 a.m. and then was up every few hours until morning. Lynn was ready for an earlier bedtime so she could spend time with her husband, get things done around the house, and get to bed early herself.
By night 3, we had successfully moved up Bobby’s bedtime from 1:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and he was down to only one feed overnight.
“I can’t even put into words how life changing of an experience this was for my husband and I. Jamie creates a unique comprehensive plan based on YOUR child; this is not a “one size fits all” program. The sleep plan is dynamic, and she continues to craft/tailor it to meet your child’s needs throughout the two week period. I LOVED that I didn’t have to do any thinking or guessing- you just follow the plan. If anything makes you uncomfortable at all, Jamie will pursue other options to reach the goal. It truly is worth every penny. My child is well rested/happy, and I feel like I’m in control of my life again! There really isn’t a price you can put on those things. Thank you SO much Jamie!!!“
When I began working with Brianna, her daughter Harper was waking up several times throughout the night and taking up to 2 hours to fall back asleep each time.
After putting a new plan in place, Harper was sleeping through the night within days after our consultation.
“My sweet Harper is 10 months old and had always been a good sleeper until around 8 months. She started waking up 2, then 3, then up to 5 times a night and it would take up to two hours each time to get her back to sleep. She also refused to nap. I was sleep deprived to say the least, and I could see a change in Harper as well. After a full week of waking up 5 times a night and no sleep, I knew I needed to do something! I tried to read online how to sleep train by myself, and after lots of tears and tons of throwing up, I knew I needed professional help. I was referred to Oh Baby Consulting by my pediatrician and I’m so thankful for it. The price was worth every penny! Jamie was wonderful to work with. She was diligent at responding and was so helpful and supportive during the entire process. It’s been a month since we started the sleep training program, and Harper has slept 12 hours plus every night, and takes two full naps a day! We would never be where we are now without Jamie and Oh Baby Consulting. I’d recommend her to anyone! My only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner!”
